    • There are a few extensions that do this. It's not easy and I think you need a dedicated server.

    • Yeah, I have looked at some. But they are not exactly what I am looking for. Sever wise, mine can handle the cronjobs without a problem. I am using EZ Realty and looking for a way for the user to just enter the MLS number and have the site pull the information from the MLS or IDX. I feel it would be easier, quicker and the user would list more properties if all he/she had to do was enter the number and not all the description information all over again on my site. :)

      Take a look at this:

I know this is for HP. I have HP, but hated the ugly front-end. It was just not a very user friendly app. EZ Realty is very user friendly.

Looks interesting but FORGET IT at that price... $499!? PFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTT! [MEDIC!]

Hot Property is okay if you are comfortable hacking files to get it to do what you want, but I am waiting to see which Realty Component comes out on top for J1.5. I am VERY interested in EZ Realty but have invested time and money in HP.

I'm working on a HP hack to add virtual tours and google maps to listings and I need to do some more editing to the listings layout of which the deafult layout sucks.

      Cheers

    • Last I heard EZRealty was not going to be developed for 1.5. And it is encrypted so there are things you can't hack.

JoomSuite Content is made for 1.5 and can be used for Realty.

$499 is not a bad price for what is involved in setting up MLS the way SerrBiz does it.

    • Yes Donna you are correct, $499 isn't bad I guess, just not suitable for this particular application.

    • Okay, new update. I am in the process of getting some code. An EZ Realty customer paid some one to make a hack for the MLS. Right now it does nightly batches and imports all the data. I am going to send it to my coder to finish.

499????? WOW!!! Yeah, that is alot. And yes ez realty is encoded. But most of the functions can me modified. There are some things that are encoded. But she has a great end user look and admin backend control. There are so many features already included and she is working on adding more features. I will tell you she listens to the community when it comes to updates. Virtual tours and Google maps is already up and working in it. She is still unsure of a 1.5 development, but I wouldn't rule it out :)

    • She doesn't want to do 1.5 b/c her component does not conform to the open source license.
