odd pop-up in admin panel

Perhaps not a rockettheme issue, but I am using Versatility III Template on this site, so wonder if related.....
When ever I view or make changes to global config file (doesn't matter), when I save or close the file, I get this pop-up block (see gif) although I have not requested to change any password!
admin is my superadministrator username,
vthomas is my database user name.
If I cancel, all seems to go on fine and the files saves or closes. I haven't ever said OK to the pop-up. But it is very odd and a bit scary to me that this should pop up. Any ideas? - An old dog can learn new tricks - I saw it on Mythbusters!
