What does RT use for membership control?

    • I'm so close to abandoning Joomla for the simple reason that their is no easy, stable, secure away to maintain a membership site. How does RT do it? What components are you using? Joomla 1.5 or 1.0? I'm using Joomla 1.5.1 and have tried Joomsuite Member (buggy as an ant farm), AEC (too many hacks), and just using Paypal subscriptions (prefer my own payment processor). Can you give away this secret for my e-learning site?

    • We will be using RokClub when we move to Joomla 1.5. It will be available from www.rocketwerx.com once that is done.

    • Hi James,

Thanks for the reply. I've seen RokClub when the old rocketwrex site was up, but it would be great to know you're using now as I'd really like to plan a launch date for my site. Just like you guys, I get calls and e-mails all the time asking "when will it be done?"

So you say RokClub is the solution that will solve my problems? Should I hold my breath for it? And if you don't have any info on it, could you give me a hint about how you guys do things. Thanks so much!
