Newsletter add-in

    • I would love to have something that would allow me to send a newsletter with a similar theme to a group of subscribers from Joomla. Of course, it would be cool to have a good system to sign up subscribers.

Has anyone run across anything that does this well in J1.5

    • Could be neat, although with alot of E-Mail clients blocking HTML or pictures it may be more of a hassel than it is worth.

    • The cobbled together things I am using now will make a text version that will go out in addition to the html.

Right now it is almost a dream. It seems that everything I find that is a suite and works together is disgustingly expensive... or maybe I'm just not smart enough to get the different parts of sendblaster to work together...

    • I have a great newsletter module written in asp.net, if anyone wears both hats. :) Great double opt-in, batch send, adds a 1px x 1px graphic to track readership, handles bounced mail, subscribe to multiple categories, integrates with the registration process, save multiple templates for multiple categories, etc, etc, etc. ;)

I, too, am in search of something similar in the Joomla world, but my search continues. Let me know if you find something that doesn't require a second mortgage on my home.

    • I would love something that would allow me to include the same look in a newsletter. . . . I've got the free acajoom news which seems to work ok.
