Trying to embed external podcasts on a 1.5 / MediaMogul site.

In the past, I used a plugin called botPOD for a Joomla 1.0.11 site, and it worked great.
I simply added a bit of code to my content, and the podcast showed up and started playing in a variation of mp3player, with the podcast play list in a scroll-box. The player could even be customized with background image, colors, etc.
The code was easy, and it worked for a .xml and .rss extensions:
{pod}http://podcast_url_here.xml{/pod}
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work in 1.5, and only the code shows up.
The plugin is no longer available at the Joomla extensions site, and when I asked at the Joomla forums a few days ago, nobody replied.
Has anyone managed to get botPOD working in 1.5, or do you know of a way I can host related external audio podcasts on my site?

- you could always add the podcast to Odeo.com (if it's not already there). Then use the Odeo plug-n-play player to deliver it on you site. It's easily customizable, and will do exactly what you described. And it's free.

I've considered it, and if I can't get botPOD to work, I may be forced to go that route.
