    • Hi,

      I have some questions (I am a newbie):

      If a user tries to use the homepage without being logged in, I want the user to get a notice: please log in, instead of an error message ( www.figgeochliza.se/test1/index.php?opti...icle&id=52&Itemid=52 ) that the page cannot be accessed. How do I achieve that?

      I want to use the USER1 field for our News bulletin; I would like the latest news to be listed there and also a link to the news archive at the bottom of the field USER1. All published articles should be viewable in the news archive as well both old and new. How do I achieve this?

      I use the Simplix template and Joomla 1.5.1
      www.figgeochliza.se/test1/

      Best regards,
      Fredrik Andersson ::)

      I guess I don't understand what you are trying to accomplish here. Your "Home Page" is actually: www.figgeochliza.se/test1/

      When going to your site that is the first page of the site. It is using index.php to display. This: option=com_content&view=article&id=52&Itemid=52 : Looks like a article that you are trying to show, there are a couple of things you may need to check, is this the actual link to the article, do you have it set to Public, Registered, or Special, and finally are you able to access it any other way?

      In the admin section you can assign any module to any position.
