mootools not visible in module manager (joomla 1.5)

Hello everyone
I installed joomla 1.5 where mootools should be allready on the board.
The template is using it as well, so the additions in index.php are there.
I wanted to install some modules which need mootools but in the module manager it is not listed, so i can't enable it.
any ideas???
I would apprechiate any help.

sorry for the confusion... everything runs fine.
mootools is as mentioned on the board with joomla 1.5
was without enough coffee...
