My users cant register on the forums HELP!

click on forums and try and register - i get the following message when someone tries to register:

1. an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
2. a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
3. a mistyped address
4. you have no access to this page
5. The requested resource was not found.
6. An error has occurred while processing your request.

- Check your file permissions make sure they are set to 755

File permissions are as follows:
R W E
[ ] [ ] [ ] Admin
[ ] [ ] [ ] Owner
[ ] [ ] [ ] Everyone
R = Read - W = Write - E = Execute
You need to make sure that everyone has read and at least the owner has write and execute priviliages. If the owner does not then you will get permission denied or forbidden (403) errors
To do this you need to either ask your host, or use your FTP program and CHMOD the files. This is all in the Joomla User Documentation that can be found on www.joomla.org - Jessica Kennedy
