    • Hi,

      I try to upload picture file via Media Manager. Status shows that it is 100% completed, but it does not show in the Media Manager. I try to check it via FTP, the file is not there.

      All folders are now 755, which permission settings should I use?
      I am using Joomla 1.5
      I have input the FTP Username and Password in the Media Manager.

    • I have found the error and temporary solution.

      I think the Media Manager fail to use the FTP username and password we have provided when we upload. It is not related to the permission.

      Temporary Solution:
      =============
      Go to Global Configuration and put in Username and Password, click apply once to use the username and password, Joomla will remember the username and password for this login session.
      Then, i go back to Media Manager, it will not ask for username and password again, then I upload, it success.


      Actually there is an error message for this problem in IE 7:
