      I just created a simple 1.5 native plugin for Woopra analytics ( www.woopra.com ) :

      extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...k_id,4732/Itemid,35/

      enjoy

      Okay, probably a dumb question, but does this extension work in J 1.0.x Andy?

      *edit*
      N/M - I actully clicked your link (who would'a thunk it :P ) and can see that it is indeed for 1.0.x also.

      Thank you Andy!

    • I seem to have something completely wrong on my site www.macnytt.no . I installed the plugin, activated it, put in the id for the site, and I got no data on woopra.

      So I guess I am missing something, and I wonder what?!

      Perhaps it's because you are using a template from another club?

      :)

      [edit] or perhaps because 'woopra_id' is undefined? ;)

    • Well, the woopra_id is defined, but I thought this plugin would work on any templates. Yes, I use template from Joomlart for the site as RocketTheme haven't made any descent templates for a news site.

      I was just poking...and posted about 'how I have sinned, too' using the same (version II) news template myself. :)

      I got that undefined error using IE...fires as soon as I hit your page.

    • Man, after that jab about us not making a decent news template, i really feel like not helping you out at all ;)

      oh well, I'm a better person than that so here goes:

      You have no </script> tag for your anatlytics js when you inserted this plugin at the end, it caused a js error that was probably ignored before. Either remove the anlaytics code (it's really slow anyway) or at least close it off with </script>
      <script type="text/javascript">
      var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www.");
      document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
      </script>
      <script type="text/javascript">
      var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-1336778-2");
      pageTracker._initData();
      pageTracker._trackPageview();

      ***** PUT </SCRIPT> HERE!!!! ******

      <script type="text/javascript">
      var woopra_id = '2381823345';
      </script>
      <script src="http://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js"></script>

      You'll show him next month, Andy! :)

      PS...THEY (that other club) don't make a decent news template, for the record...laden with bugs and support is nonexistant, unlike the amazing help Mr. Miller just provided. I won't use my version II on a live site anytime soon...news module is buggy, color issues with the text logo and section color changer, etc, etc, etc...weak, man. :)

    • Thx! :-)

      That fixed the problem. It's support like this that almost could make me love you.

      To make me love RT I would need a wonderful template for a news site. Nudge nudge...no wait a minute! Why nudge when I can push!

      So push, push ... to make you notice me.

      To Terp:
      I know. And I will probably stop using that club's template as soon as I can get some decent alternatives. Like a really fabulous template for a news site that's not too heavy on the graphics so it'll be fast to download for my readers.

      And to Mr. Miller again:
      PS: Nice to see somebody with the same ironic humour for a change.
