I don't know if this is template related, but one of you peeps probably know the answer. My favicon.ico shows up in firefox then disappears back to the blank ico (page looking icon). In I.E. is works fine. And yes I have cleared the private data.

- Try copying the favicon to your Joomla install folder AND the image directory of the template/ style that you are using.

Did you copy the .ico file to the template folder or the template/ style that you are using folder? Try the latter if you did the former. - The member formerly known as Roland Deschain

I am using the MediaMogal template and have pasted that darn favicon into ever sub folder possible and am having the same problem... Then the thing taunts me by showing up when I login to the back end admin. Check it out:

Any help would be great and if I figure it out, I will repost the solution.

Showed up for me on every menu except the blog page....
Could be stuck in your cache, have you tried clearing it or deleting temporary internet files?

- Yeah, SEF is turned on. You probably have something there. What is weird is that it is fine in IE but Firefox gives it problems. Not a big deal, just annoying.
