I'm looking into getting a new hosting company for my website. The one that I'm using is real starting to suck. > My site down time is getting high, 8 or 9 time yesterday and about 3 hrs today.... :-\ I'm currently running Joomla and Moodle on my site. The cost for all hosting companiers are about the same, so service uptime and just how will the hosting company is working.
I'm looking st:
1. HostMoster
2. Blue Host
3. Host Papa
4. Go Daddy

I think
www.jumpline.com
should be checked out, although a little more complicated then most hosts, the service, and the functionallity is perfect for me
Stay away from go daddy as they are really horrible. I am with jaguarpc right now and they are fantastic. There are many other companies stated here that are great as well.
I have been looking around a reading alot of reviews, looking at at alot of host company sites. It came down to just try it and if its not working for you move. ;D
I move to a new site yesterday and I'm up and running instantly.
I was recommending Hostgator to all my clients, but now I am very disappointed in them. I've had accounts there for a while and they never upgraded me to php5 or to the new fantastico panel. However, the new customers since Jan. 2008 all have the upgraded php5 and upgraded fantastico.
Is that anyway to treat their long-time loyal customers?
Now I don't know where to go. Rochen is excellent but way too expensive.
apt host is reliable and cheap, and they just updated their servers to faster ones. The one thing that you will always see with apt is they update your fantastico with the newest reliable scripts. Hope this helps.
