    • Hi Guys,

      daft noob question here!!
      I have an image in an ads module with a link to the company site that the ad relates to and its works fine - however the site opens in the same window as the hosting site. How do I get a new browser window to open for this (and other) ads?? Completely forgotten how to do this - more I think - more confused I get!! must be the tablets

    • One of the gurus here can probably tell you how to add some code to the link so it'll open in a new tab or window.

      I can only tell you that I use JCE (Joomla Content Editor) as my WYSIWYG editor.

      Has a very friendly interface and when you link, it'll even ask you where you want the page to open.

      (This might be true with TinyMCE, but I haven't used it in a while.)

      Anyway, just look for options in either when you create the link.....

      Thanks for that - the JCE for 1.5 is still in beta production so will keep an eye on it for final release

      Yupp, TinyMCE give you the same option, just choose Target: Open in new window

      Ahhhh... True!

      But linking Article from JCE is sweet, leads you right to the article w/o having to search for the path after 'index.php?'
