Two Sites - Two Domains - Same Joomla Database

Hey all,
I'm just curious if anyone has tried this for Search Engine help. If I've got domaintexas.com and then also domaindallas.com, would it be advantageous to have two different instances of J1.5 installed in each domain?
Would this send red flags to SEs?
I've accidentally come across this while creating working directories for clients...
Just a thought.
