OK, so I've got an itch to change my website.
Currently it's running Colormatic on Joomla 1.0.15 (upgraded from a v1.0.12 Rocketlauncher). I've got content, additional plugins/bots, etc. that I would like to migrate to a new site based on a RT template running Joomla 1.5. I haven't decided which template I'm going to move to, but I think that'll be the easiest of my issues.
My biggest concern is my current content and how it will migrate (if it will). As of this moment, I haven't researched the upgrade/migration path for Joomla. I thought I would make this my first stop on that research.
Anyone done a migration? If so, how did it go? What should I expect? Anything I can do to prepare? Would it be easier to simply start from scratch?

If you have a lot of legacy extensions installed they may or may not work with J1.5, even in Legacy mode.
I think the story would be different if you were migrating 1.0 > 1.0 , 1.5 > 1.5.
My first step would be to see if the extentions/ plugins /bots are available for 1.5 Native, if they'll run in Legacy, etc. - Thanks,
