Transferring installation from one directory to another?

Hey guys,
Currently, I have my joomla 1.5 install located at pokemonfan.net/wisteria
Is there anyway I can move it to my root directory: pokemonfan.net
How would I do that?

Is it possible to keep the SEO Optimized URL's? I have relocated my site to the root, renamed the .htaccess file, and yet I had to disable the SEO optimized urls to get my links working. - Last Edit: 16 years 9 months ago by Dillan Laughlin.

- I think I solved it. It appears as though my ftp program (forklift) wasn't getting rid of the file extension. I pulled the htaccess.txt file into a basic text editor and saved as .htaccess and uploaded the new file back up to the web server. Now everything works. I hope this helps someone else.
