    • Hi there, I am a novice to intermediate in the area web design, and know some html, css, fireworks..

      I'm looking to incorporate a joomla site into a pre-existing site, so that when I add a button on the main site:
      hudsoncatholic.org

      it brings the user to a section of the site that looks like this:
      hudsoncatholic.org/sample_joomla.html

      And the joomla area would have a mainmenu button that brought the user back to the main home site (exiting the joomla area).

      Can someone direct me as to how I can specify these custom header and footers in my Joomla site that would live completely above and below ALL Joomla elements ??

      If you know of any tutorials on this I'd be most appreciative!!

    • also.. I was wondering if/how it is possible to turn the header that's here: hudsoncatholic.org/sample_joomla.html
      into the header that's in one of the rockettheme templates (so that there isn't a rockettheme header under the school's header) --- is that possible, hard, ? can someone point me in the right direction on this one too?? thanks again :) Steven
