Hi!
Can anyone tell me how to add a blog to a website made with Joomla, I use the Chromatophoredesign. I have never tried to add a blog before and I haven´t the faintest idea how to do it.
I want to blog to be a part of the rest of the web site, i e open in the same field as all other texts. Sorry if I can´t explain this in an understanding way... English is not my native language.
Do I need to find a good extension and install it? If that is the case, can anyone recommened a good extension?

I´m a total beginner at Joomla, so I have never before heard of MyBlog. I interpret your smiley that I should have... NOW I know and will try it out! Step by step I´m getting the hang of Joomla!

- how about just creating a new section and or new categories and use joomla - you'll find it's much easier than adding extra components

- If I do as you say - can my visitors comment? I thought you have to install a special module in order to get that "effect".

commenting isn't a core component of joomla, for that, you would have to use something else. there is a list here:
