    • I am having the same problem with a J1.5 site using the Populus template. I've also published the category, client and banner and all I am getting is the module title in the correct position but no banner image. I've done this many times before without problems. I'm using the FF3.0.1 and have also tried IE7. No joy?

      Any thoughts?

    • Just a thought...

The banner position in some of the demo templates has a 468x60 'banner' published to it.

This, in fact, is not a banner but a custom module published to be banner position with an image inside just to show where the banner goes.

Before you publish banners to the banner position, you have to un-publish or delete that module.

    • Thanks for that. I think you are on the right track. The banner module was a custom one, not the usual mod_banner that comes standard with a normal install. I used the Populus Rocket Launcher to do the installation.

Interestingly, there is no sign of the mod_banner in the backend when I click on the Extension Manager / Modules. I've checked to see whether the modules / mod_banner files are on the server and they are there OK. I even re-uploaded the files to make sure but am getting this following error when going into Extension Manager / Modules -

XML Parsing Error at 244:59. Error 4: not well-formed (invalid token)

Could be a bug in the Rocket Launcher installation?
