- prim, I checked it out and it looks good to go, I didnt see the one he couldnt get rid of, and the favicon showed up just fine on my browsers.

- Phoca favicon makes all that so much easier!! It worked for me first time every time that I used it. That guy produces good stuff.

- i using wordpress hybrid template, where is the root directory location of the favicon.ico?
  i think i will not change the file name, just want to replace the old one, anyone can help?

  I am going round in circles here. I have created the favicon and it shows in Firefox no problems. Still cant get it to show in I.E. 9

  getting confused with answers above and would really appreciate help as this is the last thing to do on this site !!

- Just purchased and installed a new Rocket template and lost my favicon.
  Another vote for Phoca, as it worked perfectly for Joomla 3 and Rockettheme templates.
