newsflash refresh when selecting home from menu

Hi everyone,
This is my first time in the forum, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make the newflash on the frontpage refresh(rotate) when selecting home on the main menu.
works when first loaded, but stops after selecting a different page and going back to the home page.
any help would be great thanks,
