Lightbox alternative "FancyBox" - Setting it up in Joomla

Posted 16 years 8 months ago
    • Hi,
I'd like to use this tool: fancy.klade.lv/
But I don't understand where to place the javascript files and how to call them in my article(?)...

or should I just be using the RocketTheme variant...

Looking for some help, I'd like to use the idea on a portfolio page, where someone clicks a thumbnail and can click through the different examples showcased in a "lightbox" format.

    • Hey, I tried installing Rokbox and got the error msg: "Unable to Detect Manifest File"
I tried changing the version of PHP as others have suggested on other forums, and it didn't work.

Am I totally screwed? What should I do?

there are a dozen, free and commercial, that you can find in the JED. Check under the "Popups and Iframes" category.

    • You can simply disable shadowbox on the frontpage since it isn't being used there. (Assuming you are using the shadowbox module, you can set which pages it appears on)

You should also disable mootools loading in shadowbox as it is already being loaded in Joomla.

For best results, ask the developer (Richie) for help on the NF forums :)
