Honestly, even since Mambo, what I want is to be able to write articles in a linear format. So, what I would have is, let's say 250 pages of articles in one document. Let's say there are 200 articles. I want to tag them and categorize them and I want to be able to edit all of them at the same time.
Then I want to be able to have a site that looks like TerranTribune automatically generated from my single file with the 200 articles. Sure, I can pick preferences per article, but I can do that on all 200 articles simultaneously. I can add and remove tags, I can recategorize, and I can add and remove articles, and all of my parameters are right there...not buried in sections, categories, modules, etc.
Sure, the single file might "reference" multiple files, but I just want to be able to do everything on one page, without all of the clicking around that Joomla requires.
