    SOLVED Modifying the duplicate of the newsfeed module

    Posted 16 years 8 months ago
    • Hello all,

      I am using this news feed module in out news page. I wanted to have them also on the frontpage, in the footer area. Well, I duplicated the module and inserted it to the footer section of the frontpage, and changed the amount of news items from 5 to 3 (that way it fits perfectly to the footer).

      The thing I'm wondering here, is how to modify this duplicate module even more? I've searched the modules folder via ftp, and found only one newsfeed module. The thing is that I would like to change the color of the font (in news article names, not the header) to black, etc, nothing that special. Can this be done in J!, or can I edit some .php .css?

      Thank you!

    • Hi again,

      I figured this one out. I just edited template.css and added
      div #footer .latestnews {}

      Since the module is in the footer div, I just inserted the values I needed. Thanks, though. :-)
