Elaine (with Apple-ish grin): I just bought a Macbook
Jerry (non-chalantly sipping his coffee in front of his Dell): So? I've got Vista.
Elaine (frowning): But this is a Mac, Jerry.
Jerry: But it's not Vista.
Elaine: No, it's not Vista. It's a Mac.
Jerry: It's very shiny. What'd that thing cost you?
Elaine (defensive): What does that matter?
Jerry: One thousand?
Elaine: Jerry...
Jerry: Two thousand?
Elaine: Stop...
Jerry: Three th--
Elaine: $2755.
Jerry: Inclu--
Elaine: Including tax.
Jerry: 1250
Elaine: 1250 what?
Jerry: Vista.
Elaine: But it's not a Mac!
Jerry: It checks email.
Elaine: So does my Mac.
Jerry: Surfs the web.
Elaine: So does my Mac.
Jerry: Makes movies.
Elaine: So does...it does? I thought Windows didn't make movies.
Jerry (shrugs and sips): Vista.
(Door explodes open!)
Kramer: Jerry! The Dell store down the street is selling computers with Vista for $1500!
Jerry: 1250
Kramer (walking over to Jerry's laptop): Oooh, is that...
Jerry: Vista.
Kramer: Niiiice.

Lol, that just makes me cringe. Why waste their money of a piece of crap, just plug their advertising into the new Windows as we wouldn't already know that it sucks
Its not really a PC vs Mac thing or a Microsoft vs Apple or even Windows vs OS X. Its really Vista vs Leopard (in the above *ad*) which is entirely different.
The ad above makes me cringe, similar to those school plays we were all forced to watch at some point in our lives. Its a play on the Mac Ads which are quite ludicrous in themselves and just doesn't work for Vista.
Vista is rubbish, no doubt about it That is why everyone is staying or going back to XP as XP was pretty decent.
The good old saying *flogging a dead horse* really applies to Vista. Personally, I think its a a waste of resources on a massive marketing campaign on something that is pretty rubbish. I can understand if they spent the money for Windows 7 as the masses would be unaware of what the true quality of the product really is. Its very hard to change the opinion of the masses, especially when that opinion is based around truths.
Obviously, Vista has some good attributes but for the most part, was a move in the wrong direction.
I like Apple products from my iPod, Macbook and the operating system. I would never go back to Windows. However, I did hope that Vista would be a success and I sure as hell want Windows 7 to be a success for very selfish reasons. Vista and its successor means no IE6 and eventually no IE7, which is a glorious event in itself!!!
I don't care if you love PCs, Windows, Macs, OSX etc... everyone uses whatever they want as it best suits them but I do care if people use Internet Explorer!!! don't do it folks!
