SEO Problems. Can someone confirm....
Posted 16 years 8 months ago
I have a problem with SEO, i think.....
I already posted it here and in joomla but there is no real solution.
I am only using joomla 1.5.6 seo.
To make it short see below.
This is the correct address:
www.kmrental.biz/faqs
This is what happens and it breaks up the site:
www.kmrental.biz/index.php/faqs
It happens to most of the pages. Sometimes its there and sometimes its not.
Can someone confirm it for me. Can you start with the home page
www.kmrental.biz
.
Is there any other who has this problem and is there already a solution?
thanks
Mike

You are talking about the FAQ menu item link? It's working for me...tried from a bunch of pages, but it's always showing the .biz/faqs and not the one with the inserted index.
Tested using Internet Destroyer 7.

Finally, after months of searching and reading, asking different forums for help. i have found the solution.
I can't believe i missed this from the beginning.
The solution is with the $livesite. i only have to point it to my livesite.
Thanks for all the help.

Hi Daniel,
Hope this works for you. I should have posted the solution here a long time ago.
Go to configuration.php
search var $live_site = ''
Change it to var $live_site = '
yoursite.com
'
Hope this helps.
