quicktime / lightbox slow to load

Hey there - Rockettheme newbie - Joomla apprentice(whatever that means)
I have Joomla 1.5.6 - Hivemind 1.5.3 light - YooEffects 1.5.1 -- hosted by GoDaddy servers.
so - I have my website(still under construction) up - and the strange thing is happening.
you click on an .mp4 - lets say it's 36 mb in size - plays immediately - everything is fine. but I load in a .mov file - and the load time takes 2-4 minutes. the video plays/streams fine once it's loaded, but to get that point is not pleasant. Doesn't seem like a streaming issue since file sizes are the same with the .mp4's - thoughts?
