Can't get email working from within the bentobox contact us module

Hi,
when a visitor is at my site and goes to leave me an email they get a nice email accepted message but it doesn't work and they get this email sent back to them:

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

i do notice that the address gfavale@gfavalephotography does not have a .com but not sure if that is an issue
in the global config i have

I have checked with my ISP and of course they indicate it is within my joomla code.
