I created sitemap.xml using jCrawler but it show errors or broken links.

I have finished my site. I uploaded the rocketlauncer and then went through and converted or added the menus, sections, categories and articles to suit my site. I then when through the menus, sections, categories, and articles and unpublished what I wasn't using. I also archived the articles.
When I ran jCrawler to create a sitemap for google, their were many errors. Most of them were broken links to some of the original articles and to some articles that I added.
Does anyone know why my sitemap would show so many errors especially to articles that are unpublished and archived?
