Payment System or shopping cart that will also work with Paypal

HI
I am looking for a payment system for Joomla 1.5.6. Which will allow me initially to use Paypal and then later on perhaps take other forms of payment. Anyone suggest anything out there? I would rather take something Free...but I dont mind spending some money on it as well.

...never used a shopping cart with Joomla, so I can't comment on that one (that's why I stopped in the thread, to see what others might recommend
), but you should upgrade to J1.7.

I use virtuemart...it's very flexible. You should download it and test it out. Plus, read up on their site.

Oh yeah, I use Virtuemart in catalog mode on some sites, in shopping mode on others and I am working on another site to utilize the affiliate mode and download mode. Plus, it has built in a wide variety of payment systems pre-coded. You just select the ones you want to use and enter you account info (i.e. paypal username for paypal) then hit save --- ready to rock and roll.
