Site title and tab

Not sure exactly where to post this since I am not sure if it is template or Joomla related so I am posting it here in hope that someone can point me in the right direction.
How can I make my site display it’s name in the title bar (the very top line next to the big blue E) and on the tab for the page it occupies. I though it used to do that. It doesn’t now (perhaps since I upgraded to Joomla 1.5 ?) . Now it says “Home” or whatever I call the Home entry in my main menu.

Thanks for the quick reply. Followed your links, and followed their links and it looks like it is related to SH404SEF.
If I follow the directions your lilnk leads to and turn on SH404SEF the name changes, when I turn it back on "Home" retruns.
Update
Using Firenzie.
Checked with SH404SEF forum. There is a home page meta tag entry for this.
From the site administrator panel go to >components > SH404SEF > View/edit URls
At the upper right corner of that page there is a button for "Home Page Meta" and in there a field for "Title Tag".
