Move Content Between Templates?

Is there an easy way to transfer content from one template to another? I currently am using the Dimensions template for my website but would like to change the look of my site to the TerraTribune Light template. Is there a smart way to do this or am I setting myself up for alot of "busy work"?

- Most content exists seperately from the template. You should be able to upload your new template and only have to adjust some module positions. You can easily switch your template back if the new template appears unsuitable.
