Hi,
I am about to post an article, but would like to allow those registering to comment on it, (like a blog)
How to do that?
Do I post in blog format? If so, how do I do that?

maybe, for that you will have to install commenting system in your joomla site.
i prefer jomcomments. you can find them all at extension.joomla.org - Quick tips::
1) Clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect
2) Provide link to your site to help us help you better
3) Use in firebug
