Yup, anothe newb question - MediaMogul Installation (full w/ sample content)

  • Yup, anothe newb question - MediaMogul Installation (full w/ sample content)

    • Guys,

I downloaded MediaMogul for joomla 1.5 as a new complete install. I followed the steps of installing joomla manually on my host server. Everything went well, but when I select the MediaMogul template, all of the content is gone (please visit www.pbaddictz.com ). I wanted to upload the sample site so I had something to start from. Any suggestions? By the way, these templates are the best i've ever seen. Thanks.

Sorry for the newb question and if this is posted in the wrong area.

    • I suggest you reinstall with the Rocketlauncher and click on the load sample data button. Unless you have some data that needs to be saved.

    • So, tell me if this is right:
      1. Delete the install completely (as well as databases)
      2. Reinstall with the download provided (from rocket theme)

Now, where would I click on "load sample data"? Is this after I do the install?

I'm doing a fresh install, so I don't need anything.

Thank you for the reply thus far.

***Also, this is the package I used for the first install:

      MediaMogul RocketLauncher Package (J! 1.5)hot! 02/01/2008 Version: 1.5.2

This package contains a full Joomla 1.5.7 install as well as the MediaMogul template and demo sample content allowing you to easily deploy a replica of the MediaMogul demo site. (Only for use as a NEW Joomla install). (09-10-2008 - Updated to Joomla version 1.5.7)

    • Adding to the newbie MediaMogul Q.'s, I'm wondering where the source png's are for customisation? The tutorial names the filename, but I can't find the file nor the download area at rt.

    • Thanks for the advice, I was wondering because it doesn't appear I can download anything at all right now other than patches and free stuff. I joined a day ago. Thanks again :)

    • Joomla / download templates / Joomla Club Templates / MediaMogul there should be 10 files if you don't see any and you have logged out and logged-in, I have to ask Andy or James to have a look at your membership, however before I do that please try with another browser.
