    J! 1.5 Web Hosting Component / Extension

Posted 15 years 11 months ago
    • Hello

Does anyone know of a good web hosting component / extension for Joomla 1.5? It would be good to cover domain lookup, customer information gathering (Name, address, etc), presentation of different plans, Login for existing customers and payment via PayPal.

I have done some googling but come up with nothing constructive as yet.

      Kind Regards
      Jon

    • Thanks, I had looked at this demo and it looked good but I was hoping for a J! 1.5 Native Extension. Legacy Mode has to be enabled for that one.

Does anyone else have any other ideas? Otherwise I will give this one a try. :-)

    • It costs but I've played around with Client Exec. Seems to have everything and then some. I don't do alot of side hosting, but if I did.. I'd use it. (I get a free license from my host as part of my package)

    • WHMCS looks good. I will try out the trial they offer to give it a go. Do you have a URL to where you make use of it? Have you integrated it into Joomla yourself? How easy or hard is that to do?

      Kind Regards
      Jon

its not that hard to integrate into joomla. you can use joomla wrapper mode. or configure the files to match your site layout its fairly easy, i my self is currenly working on whmcs with my joomla site. and is integrating it right now. with the layout affinity. ill post back with my findings once am done

I've tried the wrapper... But its just too narrow. So i get horizontal scrollbars. :|

I've been looking at the template files, and i'm not that good enough @ the coding part to take on such a job. I will just mess it up.

It would be great to read about your experiences on this later on... :)
