    • Here's a link that you can give to anyone insisting on using IE6 but that may need updates.

This is the Microsoft page for IE updates which means that you have to be using IE to open it! :P
Then again, you only need this page if you're using IE, so I guess it's not all that bad.

      http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/vistadefault.aspx?ln=en-us

Updates for web browsers are VERY HIGHLY recommended for security reasons. If you ever notice an influx of spam on your locally installed email client or random settings changing, there is a very good chance that a security hole in your browser version was compromised at some point.

There is no such thing as a permanently safe browser!!! They will all need updates from time to time, so don't hesitate to install them.

Here is a link you should tell all your visitors using IE6 to go follow too:

      I agree!

I've found that the biggest reason people use IE6, at least in my interaction with the few people that visit my sites, is that they have it on their work computer and are at the mercy of their IT department when it comes to installations or updates.

The others use it (IE6) because they don't know how to use their computer to begin with.
