    • I'm going to give it another shot on a different host, probably a VPS. I can't seem to find any workarounds or ways to manually get the download-id which does concern me, if a customer can't receive it there's nothing I can do short of manually posting another file for them somewhere, and that's what I'm trying to avoid again.

      I've tried my site on three different hosts so far (all shared hosting) and I'm going to try a VPS hosting account now, I don't know if that will make a difference, but it's worth a shot.

    • A big thanks to Mestophales at Renderosity for helping me get this working. I am now receiving the download id, and downloads actually work.

      2 years....I've been trying to put my music site back online with headache after headache, and now it finally works...I am beyond excited!

      Now - do I walk away for the evening and celebrate, or do I start stuffing products through Filezilla until my ISP calls and begs for mercy? :)

      LOL. Filezilla is busy busy busy. I decided to celebrate by enjoying a good Merlot while uploading. :D

    • Hey, the issue was fixed in the Mail Setting:

      1. From your admin panel, go to Global Configuration
      2. Click the Server tab
      3. Change Mail Setting to SMTP Server, and add your SMTP details from your host. Choose "Yes" for SMTP Authentication, and leave the SendMail path blank.

      These are the settings that worked for me - hope this helps!
