    • Can anyone recommend a component that will change the way people access the admin backend?

      I have potential clients who I want to set up with a Joomla installation. What I would basically like it to have them somewhere between what Joomla calls a "Manager" and an "Administrator."

      I want them to have access to the "menu", "content", and "component" menu items in the admin backend, but I do not want to allow them access to "modules", "mambots", or "installers."

      Is there a way to do this?

    • A manager (as far as I can see) is only able to update and create content in the various sections and categories that have been pre-defined by the administrator. They are not able to configure components or update menus.
