    • Hi there,

      I have a site up for about a year and a half now. http://www.bectiverangers.com
      Two days ago I was made aware that the site was down. I can access the the control panel fine, but when you visited the site, it was blank. I had a read of some forums and saw that I should turn off the articles on the home page to see if it worked. The home page now appears with no content items but the links to other content go to blank pages.

      I looked at the configuration.php file and I see that this line has changed;
      $mosConfig_error_reporting = '-1';
      When looking at the configuration.php from inside the control panel, this line appears:
      $mosConfig_error_reporting = '2047';



      I turned on ERROR reporting but I'm not to sure where to see the report, I thought you just go back to the live page and the report is then shown on that page. But it is not appearing for me.

      Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated. I have this issue up on the Joomla.org forum, but thought I would post it here to see if anyone could help.

    • Do you have any backups?

      If not, ask your host to restore a backup from about a week ago. Then upgrade to 1.0.15

      I seem to remember quite a few security (not sure on level) from .13 to .14 RC1 and then maybe even .15

      It might be a case of just updating and it fixing - I've not had issues with .15

    • Since the last post I have taken a closer look at the site and database. Unfortunately I had not backed up the database since the start. A lesson learnt.

      I have checked the Database and all appears to be still there and not corrupt. So that means that it really is just an issue between the interface/site and reading the information from the database.
      I will be updating the site to 1.0.15 shortly, but from what I have been reading is that this may not change the issue that I currently have.

      If anyone has an idea of what I should be checking re. the communication between the Database and my site. it would be very much appreciated.
