    "The Team" Map

    • First off... love the new site.

I have been looking for a solution to add a user map to a CB based website that will display the members on a map similar to the map here on "The Team" page. Very cool!

Are you using a Joomla extension or is it something you just custom built for the website.

      Thanks.

      Matt

    • Hello Matt,
our "The Team" page is entirely custom, it's basically all JavaScript (mootools).

    • I like this kind of extension for community based site. Djamil, think about an extension like this one for JomSocial component. :cheesy:

    • Yes. I have a community based site that has Alumni from a university that I want to do something like this with. There are a few out there that do something like this but I have tried to get them working and haven't been able to yet. I would pay for an extension like this.

I noticed that some template clubs offer a lot of extensions, like Yootools. I love the few extensions RT has but would love to see a few more. Like the custom "Recent Video" module for Hyperion. I am actually installing it on a website now but having trouble getting the videos to actually play. Would be easier if it was actually packaged as a module with some parameters to adjust.

If someone could develop a bridge that would sync Phpbb3 with Community Builder profiles and avatars, they could sell the heck out of it too.

If RT had an extension club, I'd pay to join it as well. I know you guys have been busy with the Phpbb3 club and wow they look great. I will be joining it as soon as my next website required a forum. Keep up the good work guys and happy holidays!
