JavaFX more powerful then Ajax?

Hello Rteers,
I have to admit that I am very impressed by the JavaFX project. Seems to be a very powerful language to develop Rich Internet Applications and Sun promise a full compatibility with all kind of devices (TV, Browsers, mobiles, etc.). Can you imagine the possibility to dragg a player from the webpage to your desktop? It's something possible with JavaFX and a lot of other wonderful stuffs are available.
I think it needs some improvements because it take a long time to load. However, JavaFX will be a very serious alternative to JavaScript.
