SEO and "Source Ordered"

  • SEO and "Source Ordered"

    • I have been reading a lot about search engine optimization and the fact that key words should be towards the beginning of the page.

I current have a site using the versatility II template and I noticed that the top menu and left menu shows up first during a search engine crawl. I have seen some reference to "Source Ordered" which apparently will display the main body text first to the search engines.

Finally my question......What is source ordered and how doyou make the changes needed for this?

      Thanks

      Carl

    • that is really REALLY important!

i have the same "Problem" - just did a simulated google-crawl and i saw source-code only.. that doesnt make sense at all...

your themes look GREAT but its really poor for SEO..

the original joomla-template is perfekt for SEO but looks poor..

so, what to do? can we get around that "small" issue?

is there a way to let it behave like the joomla-template?

Please give us some tips for modifying the source..

      thanks alot!

      Best Regards
      Andreas

    • I am using Lynx Viewer.

Any thoughts on this topic and how to get the real content of the site towards the top of the page when crawled or is this a non issue.

      Thanks
