hi guys,
i need some advice...
i'm running an arcade side, got almost 200 reg users and some more guests by now. i'm currently using darkmatter, which i installed using the premade launcher. now i'd like to change template, after many recomendations that said the template is too serious for an arcade site (which i now tend to agree)...
my site is aimed mainly for students and highschool age, but i know i have some users from other ages, so i need somthing that can appeal to them... i need it to be happy, but not too childish... i'm thinking about one of the replicants...
also, how hard would it be to install a new template without the launcher, on a live site? (of course i'll first try it on a dev site
)
on my homepage i use modules such as the hot vids, hot games and new games, and also a contest module... maybe that gives ya an idea?
would really appriciate any opinion,
if you think about a change i can make in darkmatter to make it so, it might also be a good idea .

My first consideration is always Module positions.
So, I'd look at the Module positions for a couple of templates and see which ones fit my needs functionally, then decide which one looks best visually out of the lot. - Thanks,
