Hi,
I have searched the jooomla extension directory, google etc and can't find a module, extension whatever to help.
I have a goodly amount of weblinks to put up on the site and I was looking for a module or so for posting multiple links.
Any suggestions guys. I have a lot to put up and the speed I work it will take me a coupla days solid!
Thanks in advance

Sure you could - or it would be even easier if you have phpMyAdmin attached to your cPanel or the like. Create your categories, take note of the category id, then make a CSV file to inject into your weblinks table.
AHA!! Ragdata thanks,
as rusty as I am I may try something onlong those lines... Or simply open a bottle of vodka and slog through. Have to say I am really surprised nobody created a module for this. or even that there is not a add multiple urls function in the links module of joomla, I can't really believe that I am alone in the need to do this OR am I???

No, you're not alone ... but the thing is, anyone with the skill to write a CSV import utility for Joomla also has the skills to inject that CSV file directly into the database. The bottom line, is that more often than not, a 3PD Developer writes the software THEY need for Joomla.
Crack that bottle of Vodka and enjoy putting your CSV file together
