I know this should be a joomla question but this forum is generally much more responsive so I will ask it here.
Is there any way to change the default display of items (articles, modules, menu items, etc.) for the administrator lists. I find it much easier to work with all showing and currently have to scroll down on each display to change it and wait for display to adjust.
I would love to be able to set the default views to all.

hi victor!
in your joomla admin, open the global configuration screen.
there is an option "list length" (or something like that) where you can select how many items you want to display.

How I have managed to do this is by editing the 'configuration.php' file as follows: -
var $list_limit = ' ';
just take out the number, it will most likely show '50' in the sites Global Configuration under List Length but will in fact show all articles.
It seems to work for me and I now have 185 articles.

- Thanks everyone. The change in global did it for me so I never tried changing the configuration file. I will keep that in the back of my head just in case. This is a great forum!
