JCE Editor image popups work in Firefox, not IE6 or 7?

I have my settings set to "Raw" for the editor, but still the same problems. Another board said that would work. Pop up works great for Firefox, but nothing but a blank page for IE 6 or 7.
Here is a bit of the code in case someone sees my delusional problem...thanks all.

is your live site uri set to
www.domainname.com
in your configuration.php file? (as opposed to domainname.com)
that sometimes causes this problem.
if that doesnt fix it, check what your file permissions are for jce mambot. should be 755 or 777 i think. i read a problem like this on joomla forums but too tired to go looking for it again.

- Thanks GollumX, all those are in effect, and still can't figure out the problem even after updating the JCE editor to the new beta version. Thanks for the help all the same. I'll keep trying.

Problem solved. I invested $20 for the SE edition and still had some issues until I uninstalled the original image editor, since after installing the SE I then had 2 image editors. I also had to extract the graphic files from the jceutils folder and install them on my server as they did not find there way there.
That is why I had red "X"'s on the popups once I actually got them to work.
