Joomla & SEO Friendly Web Hosts?

I am new to Joomla. Currently, I use GD for my hosting and I get good results. However, with making the switch from html to Joomla, and with SEO being a good concern of mine are there any reccommendations from the users here. Choosing a web host for me is a very long term decision and I want to make the best.
When I do searches for good Joomla web hosts & SEO friendly web hosts, all I seem to find are cleverly disguised ads masking as reviews.
I tend to prefer a larger hosting provider for security reasons as I have heard tales of horror from smaller hosts that have dried up forcing users to panic and start over again.

i've used
www.5quidhost.co.uk
for a couple of years now and after trying the 'bigger' hosts have found them to be the best and very reliable
they're all set up for SEO/SEf URL's and have datacentres in teh UK as well as the US .. so you get to pick - www.c3p0.se - sweden

LOTS of threads related to hosting in the forums...and I usually drop in to say I am more than happy with Rochen, having migrated over from the asp.net world and Windows hostings from one of those so-called 'budget' host.
They are a little stingy with the storage and bandwidth, though, but I believe you still get more than you pay for; I've only submitted 2 'service tickets' since I signed-up: one to ask about the proper syntax for setting upa cron job, which they did for me and then explained the command, and the second ticket was to upgrade my account.

Thank you for the suggestions. I had never heard of Rochen Hosting, so I did some research. It turns out that they are a very stand up company that provides solid web hosting for a fair price (albeit higher, but you usually get what you pay for) and couples that with stellar customer service. Rochen support staff answered all of my questions very quickly and precisely.
I almost signed up with SiteGround Joomla web hosting because of all the fantastic reviews I had read online. Then as I did more research I found out that they have a very savvy SEM team that created all of those supposed review sites. Notice that they are all hosted on the same server, link to each other, use same Joomla templates from SiteGround, and as an experiment try to post negative comments on Siteground's Joomla web hosting - impossible or won't show up.
I am now signed up with Rochen web hosting and I feel that based on actual forum user's experiences and good word of mouth that I will be in good hands.
