    Two themes simultaneous

Posted 16 years 4 weeks ago
    • I have been building a site using the vertigo theme but I really want to use some of the features in another theme not developed by RT

Is it possible to somehow have a second template running in order to use some features from the second one? Any suggestions are welcomed.

    • What are you talking about, features or style?

You install another template and assign menus to it or install components and use them in your template.

      Could you be more specific?

    • Again, thanks for the super fast response JEM.

...I am trying to use the vertigo theme but I want some of the functionality and design that is available in another theme. I want to use one module (from the second theme) and demo content in it. Meaning the same css for that particular module will need to be used. I tried installing them as stand alone but I cannot replicate the look.

    • What component from what template?

If it's an RT component, did you check in the tutorials and guides for that template and see if there was a guide for moving the component from that template to others?

If you want the demo content from the other template, you'll need to install a copy of it with the Rocket Launcher and then access the code.

More information or a link to your site in this thread would be needed here to assist you. further.
    • Thanks,
