    Photo related question....

    • On a web site I am building I want to have a Photo Gallery site, but would like to break it up into different categories or sections. I need to know if there is an extension, module, etc. that would fill the bill here. Also recommendations or suggestions as to how to accomplish would be nice.

    • Phoca Gallery.

      www.phoca.cz/phocagallery

      Easy to use good support.

I'm sure that others will jump in with their favorites.

    • Retired, but build and run websites for organisations of school leaders and others - e.g. http://www.icponline.org, http://www.aspa.asn.au, http://www.appa.asn.au

    • I'd suggest that you check out Phoca gallery as well. I've used it on a couple of sites. It's very easy once you read the documentation, and it has some excellent features.

    • RokBox can be very easy to use!

There is a "wildcard" function in there so you can just set the directory in one line of code for an article and it will generate and display all the thumbnails for the photos in that folder. Do this for as many folders as you need and then you only ever have to upload to the directory.

The other bonus is that it's non-invasive to core code and very lightweight. If you need to show videos or any other content, you only need this one plugin.
