compressing PNG's

How do you guys compress PNG images? I have created a png image as you can see if you follow this link.. However I can't get it much lower 78 kB without losing quality. I'm using Photoshop at the moment, is anything better that will do the job?

- I don't think that will work in the showcase module because it is a gradient. I have had to use a PNG to maintain the transplant background. If I use a JPEG, I will lose a transparent backgrounds and it will just be white on gradient and look terrible

- What would be helpful is to know how the JPEG of the computer was added to the showcase module & managed to blend it all in nicely. I say this with the greatest respect but what's the point of giving us a demo if we can't replicate it? if you use a color picture in Photoshop it doesn't quite match up the color on the showcase module. I've even tried using color picker and that will not match up either.

Not quite following you. I tend to use Photoshop more than fireworks. The gradient is already there in the module isn't it? Anytime explained in another way how I can add my images the same way they have added their items? I couldn't find the gradient anywhere and it's nigh impossible to re-create it exactly

mynxx-source.png contains all elements used to create the images needed for the template. Among them, the computer and the showcase gradient.
It would be easier to insert your image in Fireworks, hide or remove the computer and the texts and export the jpg, provided the background of your image is transparent. - Yves
